What target types does ShotCoach support?
Automatic detection and scoring works today for presisjon, duell, and Colt targets — the official Norwegian NSF pistol target faces — using official ring measurements, no manual calibration required. Training on a different format? You can still log every session and score shots manually; full ISSF/IPSC auto-detection is on our roadmap.
How accurate is automatic shot detection?
Any shot detected below a 50% confidence score is flagged for a quick check, and you can always tap to add, move, or delete a shot by hand — auto-detection speeds things up, it never locks you out of a correction.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Every new account starts with a free 2-week trial of Individual (4 weeks for our first 50 shooters) — automatic detection, unlimited history, no card required. When the trial ends you choose: keep Individual, or move to the Free plan (manual entry, basic score tracking, 30 days of history) for free, forever.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet — the ShotCoach web app works from your phone's browser at the range today, and native iOS and Android apps with offline capture are in development.
Which competition formats does ShotCoach track?
You can tag and organize every session by discipline. Norwegian shooters get NSF-specific options (presisjon, duell, felt, standard pistol, air pistol); everyone else can tag sessions as free training or other. Full ISSF, IPSC/USPSA, and Olympic support is on our roadmap.
Can I train with a coach, or as part of a club?
Yes to both. Clubs are free to create or join with your training partners, complete with groups and leaderboards. Linking up with a coach is free too as an athlete — they can see your session history, leave feedback after each outing, and track your progress over time. Coaching others yourself needs the Coach & Club plan, which adds an athlete roster, invite codes, and feedback tools.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes — cancel anytime, for any reason, right from your billing settings. You'll keep full access through the end of your current billing period; your plan simply won't renew after that.
Is my target-photo data private?
Yes. Your target photos and shot-level detail are always private to your account — even a linked coach or club only ever sees your session list and aggregate score trends, never your actual photos. You can also hide your profile from user search and from club leaderboards in Settings.
What do I need to get started?
If you already shoot targets, that's it — just take a photo of your target and ShotCoach handles the rest, detecting and scoring every shot automatically.
